New to the site...looking forward to participating in some trapping related posts and sharing some catch, etc. photos!
I prepared more for this season then any other but was not able to get any K9 sets out. I spent most of my time in the woods chasing deer with my selfbow and flintlock during the start of the season ...between Covid travel issues getting in the way of my annual mid-November trip to the north country, terrible fur prices, and a snowstorm around Xmas when I took time off to trap, my equipment is sitting idle. As I just finished brain and egg tanning a couple deer hides and some fox from last season, I do plan to catch a few fox and coyote to self tan now that I’m in tanning mode. Also need to put a dent in my local beaver population as they are doing lots of damage to my trees.
Stay safe, Dino

Thanks! Not much fishing this past summer up North. After 22 years of overseeing remedial work at three Superfund sites on the St.Lawrence River, my work is winding down....one more cleanup project on Tribal land and I’ll be finished. Bittersweet!
