Who's going in the morning?
The rat's on the river's are in pockets where there was deep enough water to sustain them through out this drought.
Lure is optional but, I heard a rumour peppermint toothpaste works as good as any thing this time of year.
Mink not so much. Don't know why, it's been like that for 5-6 years here. We used to catch them big buck mink in culvert's on the hill's here. Now it's hard to find them on the River.

Well, that didn't turn out as well as I would have hoped. There were about half as many rats as I expected, and only connected on about 25 percent of the sets I had out. Should have pulled yesterday.

Good luck on your next set. Too bad on the catch but it still beats sitting home with your butt on the couch. I'll be setting water on the 25th. A mix of beaver mink and rat, maybe a few more coon. Froze my fox and coon so far and will be putting them up next week.
